Julius Caesar Moye, 100, born on July 26, 1913, sits in the home he built in Tuskegee, Ala., on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Moye, who served in the Navy from 1941-1945, said he fought in the Guadalcanal Campaign. Moye said one of the ships he was serving on was sunk in the harbor at Okinawa. Moye declined to speak further about his experience in World War II, stating he is still shell shocked.
